Manager Calls For Fans To Create' Fantastic Atmosphere'

23 April 2015

Simon Grayson hopes to have a packed and vocal Deepdale on Saturday as Preston North End host Swindon Town.

The Lilywhites are full of confidence going into the final two games of the season and the gaffer calls for as many fans as possible to get to the stadium this weekend and support the boys in what is a huge game in the race for promotion.

Speaking to PNE Player ahead of this weekend's game, the North End boss said: "We've got two tough games left, but we're very optimistic, we're very confident but we are focused and not complacent so it will be a fantastic atmosphere at Deepdale on Saturday.

"Obviously we want as many people to get down as possible to cheer us on, obviously both ends of the ground are open to home supporters so it's got the ingredients for a fantastic atmosphere and hopefully a result that will that will match that.

"We keep saying we encourage as many people to come down and make as much noise as possible. The only thing it could do is inspire Swindon, who knows, but it's certainly going to have an affect on our players. I don't think they are going to need the extra motivation because they're fully aware of what's at stake but any extra help along the way can certainly help everyone."
