If you have ever dreamed of walking out of the Deepdale tunnel onto the hallowed turf alongside your Preston North End heroes and other stars, now is your chance.
As part of the fantastic charity work being carried out by Preston North End manager Simon Grayson, a match will be played at Deepdale in aid of Prostate Cancer UK, and you can take part!
On Wednesday 29th April 2015, a team made up of celebrities and former players from PNE and across football will be led by manager Simon Grayson as they take on a team of fans led by current members of the PNE first team.
There are 13 places up for grabs with eleven guaranteed a starting place and two subs. Please note that the substitute position does not entitle you to a certain amount of playing time as there will be a ‘rolling subs’ system in place on the day.
Kick-off will be 7pm and all the money raised from the auction will go to Prostate Cancer UK and the fantastic work that they do.
The celebrities and former players taking part will be confirmed at a later date.
This is a unique opportunity to play on the pitch at Deepdale, walk out of the tunnel and take part in a pre-match warm up prior to kick-off. There will also be an opportunity to meet everyone involved after the game.
Each position in the team will be up for auction on our official eBay page, with bidding starting at just £100.
Bidding is already underway and will end on Monday 20th April 2015 at 8pm, so make sure you don't miss out!
Payment will need to be made by the winner of each position within 48 hours of the bidding ending; by Wednesday 22nd April 2015 at 8pm.
Once you bid, you are entering into a contract that states you must pay the amount you offered should you win the auction, irrespective of whether you decide to take part.
You are bidding at your own risk and enter knowing you are fit and healthy enough to participate. Preston North End will not be held responsible should you suffer any injury or such like at the event. There will be a doctor and a physio at the game should they be needed.
