Growing up on Teeside, Jordan Hugill was a regular at The Riverside to watch his heroes play for Middlesbrough.
Last season saw the striker come up against the team he supported as a child for the first time, and now, PNE's season opener has provided the 23-year-old with a dream start to life in the Championship and he can't wait for Sunday to come around.
"I can't wait, as soon as the fixtures came out and I saw that we had Middlesbrough for the first game, I was determined to get myself right and get myself in the mix the game.
"I know it's going to be a massive game for us, with us coming up last year with the way we came up, and hopefully we will have a massive crowd here to help support the lads.
"It was a big one for me when we were at The Riverside last year and now to be in the same league and getting to play against them again this year is going to be brilliant for me.
