Gaffer Satisfied With Another Point On The Board

18 August 2015

Manager Simon Grayson was pleased to get another point on the board as North End continued their unbeaten start to life in the Championship.

The Lilywhites were held to a 0-0 draw against Rotherham United, and though the gaffer admits his side had the better chances, he was satisfied to come away with a point.

"Defensively I thought we were very good as a team, we limited them to very few opportunities, we just need a little bit more quality and a bit more care when we've got possession of the ball to go and win the game.

"Though we still had some good opportunities and we worked their 'keeper more than they worked ours

"I think we had the better chances, we hit the bar, their 'keeper has got onto a couple of headers that have just gone into his hands and I don't think Jordan had a save to make.

"So overall you can't complain about having five points after three Championship games and three cleansheets."
