As Simon Grayson takes his side to face Rotherham United for the first time since the Play-Off defeat in 2014, the gaffer insists that it's in the past.
Speaking to PNE PlayerHD ahead of the game, the PNE boss admitted that the main motivation going into the game is solely to pick up three points once again after a good start to the season from his side.
"It's all water under the bridge, it's not something we are focused on, all we want to do is win our next match regardless of who it's against and what has happened in the past.
"We've ultimately got to the Championship where we wanted to be, and the only motivation really is to go and get another three points if possible against a Rotherham team that will be looking for a victory as well.
"Every game is slightly different, Rotherham have a style of play and they've got some experienced players and they've had a turn around of players in the summer.
"They went to Forest at the weekend and put on a decent performance, I watched them the week before at MK Dons. So we know what to expect from Rotherham and how they are going to play and make sure we perform to the standards we know we can do."
