You may have noticed we had a special design on the cover of The One And Only for the Reading fixture.
After running a competition ahead of Christmas for children under 16 to design a cover for our programme, eight-year-old Noah Bunting, was chosen as our winner, and had his design on the front and back of the Club's official programme.
Noah was treated to a ground tour at the Reading game, before heading to the dressing room and meeting the players. The young North End fan then enjoyed a pre-match meal in the Great Room, before watching the match with his family courtesy of the Club.
As a final treat, Noah was given a signed, framed copy of the programme on the pitch at half-time, presented by the Preston North End substitutes.
We had such a fantastic response for the competition. from nearly 200 primary and secondary schools across the greater Preston area, we felt we needed to showcase some of the other fantastic artwork we received.
We had eleven runners up who all received a family ticket to the match, and were presented with a certificate at half time, signed by the manager Simon Grayson.
Our eleven runners up were Aaminah Patel (6), Toni Lea (8), Bella Buraimo (9), Gracjana (9), Aamina Parvez (9), George Bayliss (10), Jessie Johnston (10), Matthew Emett (11), Oliver Robbert Knight (11), Max Bayliss (12), Muhamad Asmal and Rayyan Bux.
Thank you to everyone who entered!
