Manager Simon Grayson is looking for a reaction from his players on Monday after a disappointing Boxing Day for North End.
Bouncing back is something the team have done well during the gaffer's tenure and a quick turn around of games is the perfect opportunity to get back on track quickly.
"The players will be hurting from their performances individually and collectively as a team.
"Very rarely this year have teams cut us open as easily as Huddersfield did, but the good thing is there is a quick turn around now and a big game against a big Club.
"They will be looking to build on their result at the weekend and they want to be back in the Premier League very quickly.
"It's a good game for us in that respect, we will have to analyse the players to see who is going to be fit and who isn't, then look for a reaction which we've had many time since we've been here and hopefully that's the case on Monday.
