Gaffer Looking To Build On Positive Results

10 December 2015

Manager Simon Grayson is hoping to build on last weekend's victory on Saturday as PNE face two home games in four days.

It's a good opportunity for PNE to get some more wins on the board but the gaffer is aware of threats posed by a strong Reading side this weekend.

"Confidence has been really high over the last few weeks, with the results that we've had with the likes of QPR and Brighton and other results so that's been really pleasing.

"The more confidence you have within the group can only help us to go to the next level now and into the next games.

Speaking of this weekend's opponents, the manager continued: "They have got some good players, they've got some outstanding individuals, but collectively as a team they are capable of getting good results.

"In a way it's not a bad time to play them because they're not flying but we've got to be respectful of them.

"They are a top team that can turn anybody over but we are looking forward to it and it's another big challenge for us, as all of the games are.

"But if we can really get on the front foot and do the things that we did well last week again and build off that then there's no reason we can't get another three points."
