Bailey Wright On Business End Of The Season

23 February 2015

Defender Bailey Wright is looking forward to the end of the season at Preston North End as things hot up at the top of the table.

With North End closing the gap on the teams at the top of League One at the weekend, Wright speaks to PNE Player about the busy schedule in the lead up to the end of the campaign and his return to first team action after a spell on the sidelines.

"It's an important time of the year, games come thick and fast and we look at our schedule now and we've got a lot of Saturday and Tuesday games from now until the end of the season which is important that we do well.

"This stage of the season is important because we've seen how close it is at the top of the table and we've obviously seen some teams drop points over the last few weeks and we've picked up so  we know it's an important time and one we are looking forward to.

"I'm enjoying go out there and playing again, and when you're winning games it's always enjoyable and the team's playing well. It was frustrating when I've been out for a few months with injuries and now I'm starting to feel back to myself and feeling fit and ready to kick on and do what I can for the team and I'me sure it's going to be an important part of the season.

"We've got a lot of boys coming back from injuries now which is good, giving us more selection and more competition for places.
