Sylvan Ebanks-Blake was delighted to net his first goal in the lilywhite of PNE despite the team only managing a draw with Yeovil Town.
But despite being pleased to open his North End account, he hopes that the next step in his progress is a victory against Sheff Utd in the FA Cup fourth round on Saturday.
“I am delighted to score; it would have been better if it was the winner but delighted none the less,” said the North End No.40, in an exclusive interview with PNE Player.
“Strikers live and die by their goals, I’m no different. I’m delighted to score and we now move on to Saturday to try and pick up some wins.
“Today is gone; there is nothing we can do about it. We have just got to focus on Saturday and try and get that winning feeling back.”
