Preston North End winger Chris Humphrey says that the overriding feeling in the PNE changing room following Saturday’s defeat to Sheff Utd is frustration.
North End competed well in the first half before a long, enduring spell of free kicks and whistle blowing knocked the momentum out of the Lilywhites and the match with the Blades capitalising.
And after a 2-1 defeat, Humphrey was annoyed with how the afternoon finished.
“It was a very frustrating afternoon,” said the Jamaican winger.
“I think we had good chances to score goals but we seem to be saying the same thing every week, but at the end of the day they need to go in.
“Me for one, I am very frustrated with that game and we need to get it out our system quickly and move on.
“The most frustrating thing was the game was very stop-start and the referee is giving decisions and everyone was getting frustrated with it.”
