Midfielder Joel Byrom has had his contract at Deepdale terminated by mutual consent.
The central midfielder joined the Lilywhites from Stevenage during the summer of 2012, making 41 appearances and scoring five times for the Club.
Byrom spent the tail end of last season on loan at Oldham Athletic where he made four appearances.
The set piece specialist has spent the majority of the 2014/15 campaign on loan at Sky Bet League Two side Northampton Town where he has played 23 times and been a regular in manager Chris Wilder’s starting XI.
