Paul Gallagher Disappointed With Draw Against Leyton Orient

16 January 2015

Preston North End’s Paul Gallagher feels that the Lilywhites should have held on for victory following Friday’s 2-2 draw with Leyton Orient at Deepdale.

After going behind to an early David Mooney strike, North End rallied with Jermaine Beckford grabbing his first goal at Deepdale before Paul Gallagher smashed home from the penalty spot after the break.

But Chris Dagnall snatched a point for the O’s in the closing stages of the game with a fine curling effort.

And the end result left Gallagher and Co more than frustrated.

“We are disappointed,” stated PNE’s man of the match.

“We haven’t played our best tonight and when we get in front we should see the game out really.

“We have got an experienced team; we should see the game out.

“We didn’t, and we let them back in it, and they will go down the road happy with a point.”
