Gaffer Looking Forward To Trip North Of The Border

23 July 2015

Manager Simon Grayson takes his side on a long weekend away to Scotland on Friday and is looking forward to some time away from the Club's training ground.

After an intense pre-season for the lads so far, the gaffer feels a few days away with the squad will be beneficial for all concerned but insists the hard work will continue while they're away.

"It's always nice to get away from the training ground mid-way through pre-season just to break it up.

"The players have been in nearly every day here so it just gives you chance to go away for four days with the game Friday night. We will do some work, we will do some other team bonding exercises as well.

"So it's a nice opportunity to get away for the lads, to be in a different environment and obviously working hard as well towards the first game of the season."
