Snods Delighted With Team Performance In Southport

22 July 2015

Assistant manager Glynn Snodin was pleased with the performance from the North End boys as they cruised to a 4-0 win against Southport.

The victory made it three wins on the bounce for the Lilywhites, and Simon Grayson's No.2 was delighted with the way the lads are progressing throughout pre-season.

"I thought they were fantastic tonight, we really enjoyed watching the lads play. After the first ten minutes I thought they took a total grip of the game, the passing, the movement, the energy levels have upped again.

"It was a pleasure to watch them and four goals scored and another clean sheet.

"Winning is always good and playing that way as well, that's the way we are looking to play and yes it's against Southport and they're a conference team but it doesn't matter who you play against.

"You've still got to do it and I thought the application of the lads tonight was absolutely fantastic. We did a little bit of training today, the gaffer put a great session on this morning and it worked tonight."
