Alan Browne Signs New Three Year Deal At PNE

24 June 2015

Alan Browne has signed a new three year contract keeping him at Preston North End until the end of the 2017/18 season.

The young midfielder joined the Club at the start of 2014 and ended last season as a first half substitute at Wembley, as PNE secured promotion to the Championship.

The 20-year-old was delighted to commit his future to the Club and is hoping for more success with PNE next season.

"This new contract now just gives me the freedom to go and play again and do what I do and it's great to get it done.

"We are a massive Club and I'm sure other clubs in the Championship know we aren't here just to take part, we are going in there to challenge and we've got the players to do that.

"I think we can make a big impact in the Championship and be up there come the end of the season and I can't wait to be a part of it."

Manager Simon Grayson was pleased to see Browne sign a new deal at the Club and believes there is still more to come from the young midfielder.

"It's great to see another young talented player commit their future to the Club. Alan has developed over the last year and a half and he has grown as a player.

"I'm looking forward to seeing more from him and I am sure he will make a big impact on the Championship at Preston North End.”
