Striker Jermaine Beckford is delighted to have signed a two year deal to continue living every young boy's dream of playing football.
Speaking to PNE Player after signing the new deal, which becomes active on the 1st July 2015, the 31-year-old admits he got the love back for the beautiful game after joining on loan and playing under manager Simon Grayson.
On why his desire to succeed reignited, Jermaine said: "Just playing, playing with no worries, just playing the game to enjoy the game. Not worrying about outside influences that shouldn't affect the natural feeling of playing the game of football.
"This is every boys dream and I'm fortunate enough to be able to play and to live this dream so I want to make sure that I make the most of it and for me that works."
"I had a great time last season and everybody here, staff, players, have just been amazing with me. It's somewhere that feels like home."
Speaking of the upcoming season in the Championship, the striker continued: "I can't wait, I can't wait to put on another white shirt, I can't wait to kick-off for the first time, hear the crowd roar, score my first goal . I just can't wait."
