Striker Kevin Davies was quick to praise fellow frontmen Joe Garner and Jermaine Beckford for their performances this season.
Speaking at the Player of the Year Awards where he received Community Player of the Year, the 38-year-old admits it has been a pleasure to work with the formidable pair, who have netted 45 goals between them in all competitions for the Lilywhites this season.
Jermaine Beckford carried an injury for the final few weeks of the season, but it didn't stop him scoring six goals in PNE Play-Off fixtures and Davies has been impressed by his former Bolton teammate.
Speaking of Jermaine Beckford, Davies said: "He has obviously been doing his work and it's all about just getting fit for the games.
"That's what it's all about, doing the business on the Saturday and he has certainly done that.
"Since he's come back he's been outstanding, just scoring goals and he's another striker full of confidence.
"They [Garner and Beckford] have been a pleasure to watch, if one of them is having a bit of an off day, the other one seems to step in so that's been a great partnership." He continued.
"It's been great to watch them play, and peope like Gally [Paul Gallagher] in behind and Kilkenny coming into the team, we've got such talent.
"Like DJ [Daniel Johnson] in behind, we've got great players and being a striker you watch the forward movement a lot more than the defence and they've been outstanding the pair of them.
"So I'm pleased for them, pleased for everyone and it was just a good all round day and it's always nice to see Becks do well and score goals.
"He's a natural finisher so it will be interesting to see what he does next but he's been outstanding for us and I'm very happy to have had him. "
