Paul Gallagher was happy to finally put pen to paper on a permanent deal at Preston North End after two recent loan spells with the Club.
The attacking midfielder signed a two year deal with North End and was delighted to play a part in a successful season last year and hopes to have more success at Deepdale.
"Wanting to stay here is something that I expressed even when I came the first time on loan. To come back and bounce back from the disappointment the previous season against Rotherham, I always said I wanted to come back and help this Club get promotion to just myself, as a team and as a football club.
"We managed to achieve that, some people come and say things and don't achieve them but we managed to put the words into action and get there.
"It feels like I've never been away but I'm happy to be back and looking forward to what will hopefully be another good season."
