Preston North End have been drawn away to Crewe Alexandra in the first round of the Capital One Cup
North End were seeded in the draw, and now Simon Grayson will take his side to Gresty Road to face League One side Crewe.The two teams know each other well having both competed in League One last season. The last time the two sides met, the Lilywhites came out 5-1 winners at Deepdale thanks to a quadruple from Joe Garner.
The first round ties will take place on the week commencing 10th August. Further details will be announced in due course.
Remember the fixtures for North End's first season back in the Championship are released on Wednesday 17th June at 9am.
