Winger Lee Holmes has joined Sky Bet League Two side Exeter City on an emergency loan deal for the remainder of the 2014/15 season.
The 27-year-old, who joined the Lilywhites in the summer of 2012, joins the Grecians to bolster their squad ahead of the league run-in.
Holmes has made 75 appearances for the Lilywhites since arriving at Deepdale from Southampton, scoring six times.
He has struggled to make much of an impact on Simon Grayson’s first team this season however making only one appearance, that from the bench, against Port Vale in the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy.
Holmes is available to feature for Paul Tisdale’s men against Stevenage on Tuesday.
