Simon Grayson Looking Forward To Gentry Day

19 March 2015

Manager Simon Grayson is looking forward to what could be another great away day for the Lilywhites at Oakwell on Saturday.

The gaffer expects a tough test against play-off hopefuls Barnsley this weekend, but hopes the extra support from the North End fans and the atmosphere of Gentry Day can play its part and it's something Grayson is looking forward to.

"Hopefully we can give them [the fans] three points again. It's a great way for the supporters to celebrate the day, obviously it will be even better if we can have another fantastic away day.

"Everybody will know somebody who has lost someone over the last year and it's a great way of remembering those people that have passed away and supported the football club.

"It's a fantastic idea from whoever came up with it and I know it will continue for many years to come.

"To have the supporters there again in their numbers will make a difference behind that goal and again we need to put on a performance against a good team and then we can all celebrate together hopefully.

"We know what we need to do, we need to be professional and maintain the level of performances that we've been doing, and hopefully come out on top and get another tree points.

"There's a lot of belief in the camp and we are doing the right things, but we need to keep doing the right things and be positive all of the time.
