Preston North End manager Simon Grayson has been nominated for the Sky Bet League One Manager of the Month award for February after an impressive month for the Lilywhites.
The gaffer led North End to five league wins in five matches, collecting a maximum 15 points along the way,and closing the gap on teams around them in the table.
February saw a goal return of ten for PNE in the league with none conceded, making it a perfect month for Grayson and his team after a tough spell in January.
The PNE boss faces competition from fellow Sky Bet League One managers Nigel Clough (Sheffield United), Steve Cotterill (Bristol City) and Rob Page (Port Vale)
The winner will be announced on the morning of Friday 6th March and will be selected by a judging panel comprising of former Ipswich Town manager George Burley, Sky Sports’ Football League expert Don Goodman; Football League Chief Operating Officer Andy Williamson; League Managers’ Association Director Olaf Dixon and Sky Bet Football Trading Manager Paul Lowery.
