‘We Weren’t At Our Best’ Says Jack King

29 March 2015

Preston North End defender Jack King believes that it was two points dropped following a 1-1 draw with Fleetwood Town at Highbury.

King, who was solid in the main as part of a back three for the all yellow Lilywhites, was making his first league start since facing Bradford City at Deepdale back in 2014.

And he was of the opinion that Preston could have performed better over the course of the encounter in blustery conditions on the Fylde coast.

“I would say so,” said King, when asked if the draw with Fleetwood Town was two points dropped.

“We have not been at our best in the second half by any means and we thought we should have been more than a goal up at half-time but it wasn’t to be.

“In the end a little bit of quality from their guy [David Ball] has got them a point.”
