Beckford Ready To Give His All

21 May 2015

After a spell out with illness earlier this year, Jermaine Beckford is thankful to be back doing what he does best, and is ready to give his all this weekend.

The on-form striker is grateful of a second chance and another shot at promotion with the Lilywhites and can't wait for Sunday's Play-Off final at Wembley.

"It's one of those things that literally comes out of nowhere [the illness] and I'm just thankful that I've been given another chance so to speak and I'm taking every day as it comes, everyday as a blessing and every game, I see it as the most important. So I want to give it my all and I want everybody else to give it their all and if we are all doing that then the sky is the limit.

"It's obviously a big game, a really big game, and it's one that we have to go into with our heads rather than our hearts. Sometimes you rush into things and that something that myself along with a few of the other boys are definitely going to be talking to the guys about.

"I've got more than enough confidence in the staff, the management and all the players that we will go into the game with the right mindset and the right frame of mind and give it everything we've got and hopefully, fingers crossed, we come out victorious."
