Midfielder Alan Browne was delighted to be back in action for Simon Grayson's side after coming on as a second half substitute against Chesterfield on Sunday.
That is something that Irishman Browne has made sure of and though he admits it has been frustrating being out of the side, he understands the quality of the squad and was just happy to get some minutes on the pitch against Chesterfield
"It's been frustrating having to watch games from the sidelines but the team has done well to get to this point and I couldn't have had any complaints really because I think they've put in some really good performances." He said speaking to PNE Player from the Club's training ground.
"I don't think anyone who's been left out could have any complaints because of the results we have had. To go on a 18-game unbeaten streak is incredible really for any side in any league.
"It does make it a little bit easier when the team are doing well and winning but like I say you do get frustrated.
"Myself and the other lads who haven't been in the squad of late have been working after training and keeping ourselves fit and we know when an opportunity does come we will be ready for it so it's a credit to the lads and shows how much togetherness there is in this team.
"It was good to be back in the side and obviously to come on as well and get another taste of the Play-Offs but fortunately this time we were on the other end of it and we got the pitch invasion that we've always wanted really.
"We are going onto Wembley now and hopefully we can look for another win."
