Former Preston North End winger Ernie Hannigan is currently in hospital and is sadly battling with Cancer.
The 72-year-old played for PNE between 1964 and 1967, and made a total of 108 appearances, scoring 32 goals in that time.
There is a tribute evening being held for Ernie on Saturday 16th May, which will include entertainment, a raffle and tributes about the man himself.
Those hosting the evening would be very grateful if fans, former players or anyone who knew Ernie, could share their memories of the great man as part of a tribute for the evening.
