Preston North End U18s will face a trip to Carlisle or Doncaster in the third round of the FA Youth Cup.
In 2014/15, the youth team exited the competition in the first round - losing away to Crewe Alexandra on penalties after the game finished 2-2 in extra-time.
The Lilywhites' opponents will be decided on Tuesday 17th November with North End playing the winners of Carlisle United vs Doncaster Rovers, both of whom, Preston have already played this season.
In August, Nick Harrison's side earned their first three points of the season against Carlisle, with a spot-kick from Jonathan Lunney seeing North End claim victory against the Cumbrians.
North End made the trip to Doncaster in October for the last 16 of the Youth Alliance Cup last month where a goal from Freddie Tracey saw North End into the next round of the competition.
The venue and arrangements for the fixture, will be announced in due course.
