DJ Looking For First Home Victory This Weekend

29 October 2015

Daniel Johnson is on the hunt for PNE's first three points at Deepdale this weekend in the Club's first derby of the season.

PNE's current leading goalscorer with six goals in all competitions this season, feels North End have been unlucky not to secure a victory on home soil in the Championship, but is looking to change that come Saturday evening.

"At home we feel we've done enough in some games. Cardiff, Wolves, and Ipswich, I thought we were unlucky in those games.

"We've actually played well at home, we've just not got the results that we need and hopefully we can put that right Saturday.

"With a derby you know what it means, the fans will be up for it, but for me, I will treat is as just another game.

"The intensity is going to be at the top, the home fans are going to be buzzing and the stadium is going to be bouncing, especially if we get an early lead.

"The stadium is going to be rocking and hopefully we do get that early lead and we go on and win the game.

"We are full of confidence at the moment, we've picked up some good results in the last couple of games and hopefully we can take that into Saturday's game and get the win.
