Gaffer Looking To Cause An Upset

22 October 2015

Manager Simon Grayson is looking to cause an upset on Saturday as his side face league leaders Brighton and Hove Albion.

North End will be full of confidence going into the game on the back of a 3-0 win away to Charlton Athletic, and the gaffer is looking for his side to build on that result at the weekend.

"They don't come much harder than this game that we've got, but the result that we had on Tuesday night was big for us.

"Everybody will be writing us off but if we can show the same sort of desire and work rate, eventually Brighton's run has to come to and end, so let's go there full of confidence and hopefully try and upset the applecart and get a result for ourselves.

"They've got good shape and organisation, but they've also got match winners in the team as well, and they are up there for a reason.

"We know we are in for a tough game but we've got to make sure we are disciplined in everything we do, enjoy the experience and go there as underdogs and try and get a positive result to build off Tuesday night, to make it a good week for us."
