Manager Simon Grayson feels a positive result against Charlton Athletic on Tuesday night could be the springboard his side need.
After finding wins hard to come by in recent weeks, the gaffer feels that once a victory comes, it will lead to a good run of results for his side.
"We will be respectful of what they put out on the night, we know they have players that can hurt you but we need to make sure we do what we can do.
"Be good and solid defensively, as a team work hard no matter what personnel we put out there. But then when we get on the ball we need to express ourselves and galvanise ourselves and try and get the three points.
"I do genuinely believe if we pick up a result on Tuesday night, and we get the three points, that can be the springboard for a run of results because we're not a million miles away from where we want to get to."
