Adam Reach On 'Exciting New Chapter' At PNE

26 September 2015

Latest signing Adam Reach is looking forward to the latest chapter in his career, as he joins PNE on a 93-day loan deal.

The winger will be put straight into action against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Deepdale, and the on-loan Middlesbrough man can't wait to get going.

"The last couple of months at Middlesbrough I've been in and out of the team and I'm now looking forward to this exciting chapter in my career.

"I played a lot of games last season but Middlesbrough have strengthened this summer so I've been pushed back a little bit, but that's football sometimes and you've got to go elsewhere to play and I want to come here and play well and help Preston out.

"Hopefully I will get some games and put in some good performances and help Preston climb the table.

There was a lot of interest in the 22-year-old once his availability was made clear, but Reach admits the way North End play and the enthusiasm shown by the Club made the decision to come to Deepdale an easy one.

"The way Preston play is very important to me and to Middlesbrough, they want to put me in team who are going to play a similar style.

"I think when Preston heard I was available they jumped on it and that really excited me that they were so keen so now I just want to get the games going and get those performances in.

For fans that haven't seen much of the wide man, the former Bradford City loanee admits he will try and bring some extra positivity and attacking threat to Simon Grayson's side.

"I try to be attacking and I try to be as exciting as I can and as positive as I can. Whether I'm playing wide left or wide right, when I get the ball I try and do something with it, try and get a cross in or get some goals and hopefully excite the crowd."
