Keane Confident Goals Will Come

24 September 2015

Striker Will Keane put in a positive performance against AFC Bournemouth on Tuesday night, and feels the goals will come for him soon.

Keane came close on a number of occasions against the Premier League side, and feels his first league goal of the campaign isn't far away, and is hoping to build on recent performances.

"It was good to get a run out against Bournemouth, it was a tough match, but I thought the team played very well after a disappointing result at the weekend.

"For me it was good to get 120 minutes, and I feel much better for that, I thought I got into some good positions and had a couple of chances so there's definitely something to build on.

"I came close a couple of times on Tuesday, but the most pleasing thing for me is that I'm getting in the right positions and creating the chances and I think if we keep doing that, I will start to put them away.

"I want to just keep pushing on now and I'm sure the goals will come."
