Manager Happy With Selection Headache Ahead Of Wolves Clash

24 September 2015

Manager Simon Grayson admits he has some tough decisions to make when selecting his team on Saturday, after a brilliant performance from his side on Tuesday evening.

The gaffer made a number of changes against Bournemouth after his side's defeat to Brentford, but with Joe Garner and Eoin Doyle back in contention for the weekend, and the potential return of other players, the PNE boss has plenty of options ahead of the visit of Wolverhampton Wanderers on Saturday.

"Over the last few weeks we've not really had these decisions to make because we've been on pretty much 18 players so it's been difficult at times.

"But we've always said to the players who come into the team for any game to do their best and make it difficult for me to leave them out for the next game, and the other night some of the players put in performances that suggest they could be playing at the weekend.

"It's nice to have Joe Garner back, he will have had a bit of a breather because physically he gets battered game by game, and it will be nice to get him back a little bit refreshed given what he's gone through. We will have Eoin Doyle back as well and potentially one or two others so it's nice to have those options and we will be going out to try and get the three points."
