Goalkeeper Jordan Pickford is feeling positive ahead of PNE's Capital One Cup third round tie against Bournemouth.
After becoming the only side in the previous round to knock out a Premier League side, North End face another top flight team in Eddie Howe's Bournemouth, and on-loan Sunderland 'keeper Pickford sees no reason why PNE can't cause another upset.
"It was a really good performance by the team in the last round against a Premier League side, even though they made changes, they were still Premier League players we were up against.
"We've got nothing to lose against Bournemouth, we will go out and give it a really good go and there's no reason we can't go and beat them and get through to the next round.
"They are doing well in the league, and they will probably make changes, but they're a good side who got promoted last year.
"To get promoted you need a good squad, so whoever plays for them on Tuesday, it will be a tough game for us but I think we're good enough to go and have a right go at it."
