Joe Garner was full of praise for the travelling PNE fans who cheered the boys onto another derby day victory.
A packed away end of 7,000 North End fans were vocal throughout, and PNE fan Garner, was delighted to send them all home with smiles on their faces.
After his first return to Ewood Park as a player, the 27-year-old said: "It was like a home game, they didn't stop singing the whole way through the game, and I'm sure they will go home happy now and probably go and have a few pints!
"I think our away fans are unbelievable, to bring 7,000 anywhere is unbelievable and the main thing is us picking up the three points and sending them all home happy and I'm sure they will have a nice weekend now.
"They will all go into work next week and I'm sure a lot of them will be working with Blackburn fans and they will have the bragging rights.
"We owed them one, they beat us earlier in the season and I think we played really well in that game and we were unfortunate but we played well, we deserved to win and everyone is happy.
The dressing room was bouncing just as much as the away end at full time, and it was a victory that Garner, who scored the equaliser on the day, felt PNE more than deserved.
"It's bouncing in the dressing room, all the lads are happy, it was a good result.
"They were always going to throw bodies forward late on towards the end but we send our fans home happy and we are buzzing.
"To pick up three points and to score is always nice and it's obviously a nice feeling to score here. I've got a lot of friends and people here watching the game and we will be going home happy!.
"It's always a great feeling to score a goal anywhere, I'm happy with the goal and we go on to Tuesday now and look forward to the Fulham game next week.
