Chris Humphrey Departs Deepdale

30 December 2016

Chris Humphrey has agreed a mutual cancellation of his contract with immediate effect.

The Jamaican winger, 29, joined the Lilywhites in the summer of 2013 from Motherwell and went on to make 134 appearance, scoring eight goals along the way.

The former PNE No.7 played in both of the Play-Off semi-final games with Chesterfield and was an unused substitute as the team were promoted to the Championship in May 2015, but has, of late, found game time limited by the performances of others in the squad.

Chris’ contract is cancelled with immediate effect and he will be able to sign for a new club once the transfer window opens on New Year’s Day.

Preston North End would like to thank Chris for his efforts during his time at the club and wish him the very best in his future career.
