Manager Simon Grayson is aiming to replicate North End's recent away form in the league once again this weekend against Sheffield Wednesday.
After picking up points away from home against the likes of Brighton and Hove Albion, Norwich City and Birmingham City in recent weeks, the gaffer is confident his side can pick up another victory on the road but knows it won't be easy.
"We know it's a tough test but we've had some tough games over the past couple of months and we have done very well away from home and that's what we have to try and replicate again this weekend.
"Obviously we are going to have to keep any key players from the opposition quiet. You look at Forestieri who is probably one of the key players for them, he was heavily involved in their goals last weekend and so we know he is going to be a key player.
"They've got some strength up front, whether it's Joao, Nuhiu or Steven Fletcher, it just shows you the options of what they have got and their strength in depth."
The manager will be boosted by the fact that a couple of players have returned to training this week, including striker Jermaine Beckford, who could come back into contention this weekend.
Speaking of the options at his disposal, the PNE boss continued: "It's nice to have options, I think you are always judged on the strength in the depth of your bench as well and who can come off there and try and make things happen if you need to change it.
"I think at times you can change it, not because players are playing poorly but it just gives the opposition something different to think about at different times.
"To have as many attacking options available is great for me but ultimately as well in different departments as well.
"We have got one or two back from injury which is nice, one or two will be out through injury as well but it's part and parcel of why you have a decent squad."
