Manager Simon Grayson wants his side to continue progressing after a successful February for North End so far.
PNE have picked up four wins from four games this month, and sit ninth in the SkyBet Championship, a position that doesn't surprise the manager who fully believes in his squad at the Club.
After sitting in the bottom three in September, the Lilywhites are now 22 points clear of the relegation places, with confidence in the squad building game by game.
Speaking to PNE PlayerHD ahead of Saturday's trip to face Cardiff City, the PNE boss said: "We were still adapting when we came up, the players were still unsure whether they are comfortable in this division but when you look back from around September the players have done extremely well.
"We keep challenging them every day, challenge them in every game situation, and they keep responding when we ask questions of them.
"I've always had belief in the players, and you have to transmit your beliefs through to them and give them that extra confidence and make them feel like a million dollars, maybe when they're not even worth that much money!
"It's all about your man management and getting the best out of your players. We've said all along if we finished fourth from bottom in this division then we would have accomplished what we set out to do at the start of the pre-season when we came back.
"As is stands at this moment in time, we'd be very disappointed if we finish in that position but we've got to keep working hard on a daily basis and on a matchday and keep striving to get forward and improve all the time.
"We've always spoken as a football club about keeping improving all the time and we are doing that at the moment, but it's important that we don't start bordering on complacency but also taking that belief and confidence into the remainder of the season.
"Saturday is going to be another challenge for us, but it's another challenge that we relish."
