Young defender Ben Davies has joined Newport County on a youth loan until 13th February.
It's Davies' second loan of the season after he enjoyed a spell at Southport earlier in the season, playing nine times for the Club, but was recalled by PNE in October as defensive cover.
The 20-year-old will now join Newport County and has been given permission to play in the FA Cup and goes straight into the reckoning for this weekend's third round tie with Blackburn Rovers.
Davies joins the Club to gain valuable first team experience and we would like to wish Ben all the best during his time at Newport County.
