Gallagher: I Want To Play Every Game

11 January 2016

Despite recently playing with a knock, Paul Gallagher admits he wants to be involved in every game, and tomorrow's match is no different.

Manager Simon Grayson started with the midfielder on the bench against Peterborough United at the weekend to give him a rare rest, but that only lasted until half-time before the 31-year-old was called upon.

Gallagher was more than happy to take to the pitch though, and admitted he wants to be involved in every game when he can, and hopes North End can return to winning ways against Bristol City.

"I want to play in every game, if you're involved you want to try and play every game you can. I understand the manager wants to try and give people a breather but when I came on I enjoyed and got on the ball.

"I just want to play as many games as I can, and I'm looking forward to the game on Tuesday."

"It was disappointing to go out of the FA Cup, it's a great competition to be involved in, but we need tp put that to the back of our minds now and crack on with the league.

"If we can get three wins in a row in the league, that's very difficult to do in the Championship, so we will be going there looking to win, as we do in every game, and we will give it our best shot.
