Greg Cunningham was delighted to get the winner against his former club Bristol City as PNE made it three wins in three league games.
The defender joined PNE from the Robins in the summer, and scored a superb diving header with ten minutes to go to secure the three points for Simon Grayson's side.
"We are all delighted with the win, it was a hard fought game and we are delighted to get the three points.
"We were slightly disappointed to have conceded a couple of minutes after we scored the goal because it's uncharacteristic of us, but we showed great fight to create more chances and delighted to get the three points."
Speaking of the winning goal, the 24-year-old added: "It was great ball in by Gally, we've been practising set plays in training, Gally's delivery was superb and I was lucky to get on the end of it.
"It's great to get three wins in a row in the league but we're not surprised. We know what we have in the dressing room, we work very hard, and the gaffer and the staff instil a lot of confidence in us and it's shown.
"Three wins in a row in the league is great, we want to just keep going now and keep pushing up the table."
