Juniors Whites: Be A Reporter For A Day

20 January 2016

Juniors Whites will have the chance to be a reporter for the day at Preston North End this weekend.

For PNE's game against Brentford at Deepdale on Saturday, young North End fans will have the chance to see what it's like to be a reporter at the match.

The children will need to arrive at 12.30pm, meeting at the community centre, before taking part in an exclusive questions and answer session with one of the first team players!

The player will be there to answer your questions ahead of the game, before you head for lunch ready for the rest of the afternoon.

After lunch, the children will be taken on a tour of the media areas in the ground, see where the interviews take place, where the game is filmed from and much more.

Once the tour is complete, it's back to the community centre to make your score predictions ahead of the game, before heading out into the stands to watch the players pre-match warm-up.

During the game, the children will be sat in the press box where they will be asked to make notes on the game in preparation to write a match report on the game.

The children will be asked to write the match report at home based on the notes they make throughout the game, and bring them back to us at the Huddersfield Town game on Saturday 6th February, or send them to us before then.

The best match report will then be featured in our official matchday programme at one of the games in February, and the winning writer will receive a special PNE prize.

To take part children must be a member of the Junior Whites, and the day costs just £10, which includes your match ticket and lunch. Season ticket holders can join us for just £5!

Don't worry if you're not already a member, you can sign up now or on the day from just £5 for the basic package. Full details on membership packages can be found by clicking here.
