On-loan defender Marnick Vermijl is looking forward to this weekend's Emrites FA Cup action, as PNE travel to Peterborough United.
The on-loan Sheffield Wednesday man has been on the wrong side of a cup upset in the past, and is looking to avoid that this weekend at the ABAX Stadium, as North End look to progress to the fourth round.
"There's been two good results for us at home, and we want the winning ways to carry on.
"We move onto the FA Cup now and every player looks forward to playing in the cups. Everyone wants to play against the big teams and the cup is the best way to do that, so we need to make sure that we win the game on Saturday.
"In England you see so many times that you can't underestimate any team, no matter what league they are in."
Speaking of his Cup experiences, the 23-year-old continued: "When I was at Manchester United, we lost against MK Dons and they were in League One at the time, so you can never underestimate a team, we need to go there and do what we do best.
"It's a one-off game, anything can happen on the day."
