PNE's Clash With Wigan Athletic Live On Sky Sports

13 July 2016

Preston North End's clash with Lancashire rivals Wigan Athletic has been moved to Friday 23rd September, with a 7.45pm kick-off.

The game, originally scheduled for Saturday 24th September, will now be shown live on Sky Sports under the lights at Deepdale.

It will be the first time the two clubs go head to head in league action since 2005, when the sides played out a 1-1 draw at Deepdale.

It's the Latics' first season back in the Championship after just a year's absence, having won the League One title at the first time of asking last season.

The match comes between two away trips for Simon Grayson's side who face Brentford on Saturday 17th September, and a Tuesday night trip to Birmingham on 27th September.

You can secure your seat for this fixture my purchasing a 2016/17 season ticket. Season tickets can be purchased online at MyPNE.Com, by calling 0344 856 1966 or visiting the ticket office in person.

Matchday tickets will go on sale in August, and an on-sale date will be announced closer to the time.
