Alan Browne Wins International Accolade

21 March 2016

Alan Browne capped off a memorable month by collecting the Republic of Ireland U21 international player of the year award on Sunday night.

The 20-year-old North End midfielder, who signed a new long term contract just last week, received the prize at a glittering award ceremony in Dublin on Sunday night.

The Lilywhites’ No.16 would have joined up with Martin O’Neill’s Irish first team squad this week ahead of their friendly with Italy, had it not been for a hip flexor injury.

He has become a regular in the North End side in recent months, having scored twice in 33 appearances already this season; and having already played 74 times for the Club, despite only signing his first professional contract in January 2014.

Congratulations to Alan from all at Preston North End!
