North End striker Jermaine Beckford has been shortlisted for the Mitre Goal of the Year 2015.
Each club in the football league submitted their best strike of 2015, with a shortlist of ten being announced live on the Football League Tonight show on Channel 5.
Beckford's strike from the half-way line against Chesterfield has made it in to the top ten, with the stunning effort just one of six of the striker's goals in North End successful Play-Off campaign last season.
Voting closes at midday on Friday 1st April when the final ten will become just five. The winner will be decided on the night of the 2016 Football League Awards in Manchester on Sunday 17th April 2016.
