PNE picked up an impressive 13 points from a possible 18, pushing the Lilywhites well into the top half of the table with four victories from six games.
The gaffer faces tough competition from Burnley manager Sean Dyche, Brighton and Hove Albion boss Chris Hughton and Bristol City's Lee Johnson who all enjoyed success throughout the month with their respective clubs.
It's the manager's first nomination for the award this season, as North End continue to progress in their first season back in the Championship.
The winner will be announced on Sky Sports News on Friday 11th March.
