Brighton & Hove Albion v PNE: Betting Preview With 888sport

14 October 2016

Our latest betting preview courtesy of principle sponsor 888sport.

Brighton 5/9

PNE 5/1

Draw 14/5

Two in-form teams go head-to-head at the AMEX stadium in what could be an intriguing encounter.

North End have bounced back brilliantly from the defeat at Brentford last month and are four games unbeaten, while the hosts haven’t lost in the league since a home reverse to the Bees last month.

Incredibly, the last four encounters between these two side, stretching back to 2005, have finished goalless, and you can get 15/2 on a repeat.

With Brighton struggling for goals, having scored just seven in their last eight league matches, another low-scoring encounter certainly looks the best bet, especially considering PNE have recorded three clean sheets in their last six matches.

A single goal or less in the match is a 43/20 chance, while under 2.5 pays 18/25.

While 5/1 on a superb North End win looks tempting, a great bet could be the 'double chance' away win or draw at 27/20, while the straight draw is chalked up at 14/5.

Jordan Hugill is 21/2 to open the scoring and 23/5 to net at any time, with Tomer Hamed 33/10 and 33/25 in the same markets for the hosts.
