Double Fixture Change For North End

6 October 2016

After the announcement of the live games on Sky Sports, two of North End's December fixtures have now been put back.

Preston North End's local derby clash with Blackburn Rovers at Deepdale will be shown live on Sky Sports.

The fixture, originally scheduled for 3pm on Saturday 10th December, will now kick off at the later time of 5.30pm on the same day.

Simon Grayson's side will be hoping for a repeat of the last encounter between the two sides back in April when PNE came out 2-1 winners at Ewood Park.

The announcement of the live Sky games also triggers another change to the PNE fixture list with the trip to Nottingham Forest now set to be played a day later.

The match at the City Ground, which was originally scheduled for Tuesday 13th December, will now be played on Wednesday 14th with the same kick-off time of 7.45pm.

This change is due to Forest's game against Derby County being selected for Sky, with their game now due to be played on Sunday 11th December.

Tickets for the home game against Blackburn will go on sale later this week, with ticket details for the trip to Nottingham Forest set to be announced early next month.
